Presumably this will use FaceID so if your phone is stolen, unless they can break into that, they won't be able to access your car. |

Wait till BMW charges you an annual fee to use that Digital Key feature. Bloodsuckers.

You need to unlock your phone to drive with tesla. This makes it seem like you can walk up to the car with your phone in the pocket.
But my guess would be that it only unlocks your car, you would then need to use your phone to start driving the car. The article is just not clear on that. |

Tap your wrist to unlock might be better than taking our your phone and doing Face ID |

For some people, leaving the house with just a phone, no wallet or car key is a feature worth having. But I doubt this will be mandatory and every car will come with a key regardless. |

Just another thing to be hacked...not to mention Apple...they don't need any help taking over the world. I'll keep my key.

I do hope BMW does NOT decide to charge $300 for CarKey. THAT would be another rip-off. Also, while I'm here typing this, although I am an Apple user, I do believe ALL car manufacturers should provide for both ACP AND Android.

All well and good but how about they first bother to sort out keyless go properly so people aren't waking up to see their car gone from their driveway! How many years has this been going on for with little action from car manufacturers.
