Shelter-in-place is making people argue about weird things.

Can you give me some more information on the car and engine? Cams? VVT? Variable lift? If it’s a VVT motor with direct injection and a healthy sized exhaust cam, I don’t doubt a full bolt on cam, with those (what I assume to me) flow optimized header, could net 30whp. What do other cars baseline at? |

"The first time, the car made 163whp & 153wtq with a short ram intake and oem exhaust unbolted.
Now I came back to the same dyno with a 3" cold air intake, full 2.5" exhaust piping and SRS muffler. This time the results are" He's claiming to have made an extra 20HP by switching to a cold air intake and putting the exhaust back on his car.

Of course! With a small amount of power, every last pony is all the more significant!

*when using 93 octane fuel. In Oklahoma for example, it's supremely hard to find stations carrying 93. I think in the whole OKC metro area, there are 3 stations? |

Because who cares? Is there some kind of spec corolla racing class out there or something I don't know about? I care about the hp rating of my corolla about as much as I care about the hp rating of my blender.
Then again I'm sure there's people out there who love getting every last pony out of their blenders and more power to them. |

I don't personally care if someone wants to dyno or mod a corolla. They are free to do whatever they want, but at the same time I'm free to think it's weird. |

I'm still surprised to have learned of the existence of a corolla forum. Never knew people dyno and mod corollas for performance. Even more surprised OP is part of that club lol

You must be new to the internet. Car-specific forums are a way for owners to share experiences, troubleshooting, tips, information, etc.
