age has nothing to do with taste in cars. if someone told me i wasn't old enough to form my own opinions on cars then i'd tell 'em to go screw themselves.

HAHA i agree but i wasn't saying i am not old enough to form my own opinion. I was trying to say that even as a younger generation with more contemporary idea of styling i still think the E39 is a better looking car.

i like both 5ers, but picked the e39. imho, the e39 is one of bmw's best designs ever. especially the e39 m5

btw... you may or may not know this, but the e36 (including e36/7 (z3)), e39, and e90 were all designed by the same person, joji nagashima.

It says he designed the e90 thats not true But he did design the e39 and wow he made one of my favorite bmws
