Standard seats should have the red option and available in US. Not sure if UK config allows un-checking of those sport seats option which seem to be only black or cognac.

I posted a pic of the sport seats earlier in this thread. If these are available in the 240 then for sure the full carbon seats from the M3/4 will be an option on the G87.

I want Red sport seats in Melbourne red paint. Black or cognac is a crappy choice on the M240i

Except there's absolutely nothing wrong with this 2 series, it's normal BMW design. Only bad part is the somewhat off-proportional rear taillights, but the F22 was just the same. The G42 hate is just completely unjustified.

Totally agree. The F22 was very underwhelming, this one has a muscular look and looks much like the previous M2 in terms of proportions

Yes, it's in the options. It's has ambient lighting in that panel as standard, the option lets you set it to the M colours
