Spec 1- If you are going to go for an auto, go take the new G37 sedan with the 7sp auto for a ride as well, you might be surprised.

Chrome wheels can make the paint color "pop" especially if it's a metallic/pearlescent color. Same with chrome window trim.

I hate how the rap crowd has given "bling" a bad name.

Those are all definitely exceptions to my opinion on chrome.

I may take you up on that. Thusfar my decision was between the new Hyundai Genesis, the CTS, or the G8. The CTS is the only one I haven't test driven. The Genesis is honestly a car I would buy - the materials, ride, and fit and finish are just as good if not better than many Lexus'. It just happened to be a bit too big, about the size of a 7 series. I need to be able to park without a 12 pt turn.

The Pontiac's interior ruined it for me. It's just not up to par with the other cars in this price range. Materials are cheap, design is so-so. Since that's where I spend most of my time, I want a nice interior.

I need to go drive the CTS but I'll go try out the G37 as well. I'm not as big a fan of the aesthetics as I am with the Cadillac.

I wish the E90 looked better... The E92/E93 aren't that bad.

I found a CTS-V on the ground selling for sticker. 64K all options, 6 speed, black on black. With the trouble GM is having I would hate to beat them down on the price but I have only paid sticker ONCE.

Just wait until the cts-v COUPE comes out! throw some wheels on it, coilovers, remove the rear seats, put in sparcos, increase supercharger boost, exhaust...

Yeah, when that happens, you are going to see it lapping the ring in around 8:3X.
