I used to take big macs and Kentucky fried chicken thru customs all the time. I just put it in my carry-on and it goes through x-ray scanners at the security checkpoint no problem, I never had a problem. And that is a 6-6 1/2 hour flight. No one ever got sick or died
And they didn`t eat it right away.

They didn`t have any Mc donalds or Kentucky fried chicken on the island before, and now they have Mc donalds, so I just take Kentucky fried chicken whenever I go visit my mother. She loves Kentucky fried chicken

Can’t even bring a bottle of water through security in my experience so surprised food is let through.

You can take almost anything thru security except water

No liquids over 100ml. The only way food would be denied is if you have more than 100ml of condiments on it.

people get a little too sensitive about use by dates and such. i just eat it, if it taste weird i toss it. ive eaten cooked chicken breast thats been in the fridge for 14 days. was totally fine. in my drunken days, ive passed out with my fast food only to eat it in the AM

Street Meat Cart in Toronto, that mayo has been sitting out there for at least 12 hours, goes in the fridge at night.....maybe and then right back out again. Eat the sammie, you'll be fine.....what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
