I've tried a few but prefer much older two strokes which are and look like mens bikes and not the modern designs that have lost their way on the designers board.
Kawasaki 350S2,500 H1 and even 750 triple widow maker I've ridden.

Just a note of correction and sure it's just a typo, the HP4 Competition doesn't exist in '22. It's a 2012 to 2014. The equivalent is the M1000RR for '22.

You are right and I am right, forgot the sidefact, that the index are marking the year of starting owner ship, not built years. Will add this

The first time I ever rode a bike was a Kawasaki KZ650. I think it was a '78 or '79. I stole it from my older brother while he was away at boot camp. I had no license and had never ridden before. What I remember most about that first ride was that somewhere over 160kph the helmet I was wearing started to roll forward on my head from the wind ( it was way too big for me) and block my vision. That was a little unnerving.

It was only a year or so after that first ride that I bought my own bike, a '82 Kawasaki 750LTD. I rode that for a few years and then sold it. It was a long time before I would ride again. In fact my next ride was a 1999 Honda Goldwing 1500. That was a plush ride. I haven't ridden now for almost 20 years and I don't see me ever getting another bike. There are just way too many distracted drivers on the roads these days and I don't see it getting better any time in the near future.

I lifted these photos from the web-thingy but the KZ650 is the same colour as my brothers. The 750LTD is as close as I could find to mine. Mine was burgundy and I put slightly taller bars and a small bullet fairing on it because... well... you can't leave it stock, can you?

I miss the old smokers too,my dream-bike as a teenager growing up in the 80's was a RG 500 Gamma that was sold abroad but never in the USA. My wife got sick of hearing me talk nonstop about the Gamma and as a 1yr wedding present sought out and purchased(with the help of a relative who was a 2stoke enthusiast)a mint '86 RG 500 for me. I added Jolly Moto pipes, the Katana 600 wheels w modern tires,Fox shock and a few other tid bits.

Sold it when our daughter was born after 8yrs of ownership. Made a small fortune on the sale but one of my greatest regrets

Friend of mine owns first the Yamaha RD500 and later said Suzi, according to his opinion the Yamaha was the better bike to handle and the Gamma sometimes just fades or had give him the feeling of slipping. Then he had finally downgrade to a Honda NS400 R and sealed his fate by a deadly accident on wet roads.
Never encountered a bigger 2-stroke fan like him, R.I.P.

Have personally owned:
'07 R6 (sold)
'01 929RR
'16 ZX10RR

Very lucky to have a sizeable group of riding friends, so i've also had the privilege of logging significant hours on pretty much every modern Japanese RR bike, a couple Triumphs, and a few Ducks and Harleys as well. Current dream bike is currently between an RSV4 or S1kRR , ironically have never had a chance to even try those out. Although, I'm starting to gain interest in some of the sport touring bikes just because of usability on the street + my back doesnt hate me after 2 hours

You all have had some amazing bikes over the years, and the pics are a nice touch of nostalgia for many of us, I'm sure. Taking a trip down memory lane...

Definitely been up and down those routes many times!
The weekends are always a blast in that are since all the motorcycles seem to come out to play and meet up at the traffic circle Mobil station. Great opportunity to circulate through nice / unique / expensive / custom bikes and talk shop with other enthusiasts.

Thanks for understanding my pain, brother. The Anniversario was my dream bike. So disappointed in how those mechanical issues made her a lost cause, but at least I got to put a couple thousand miles and smiles in the saddle of that beautiful machine!
Out of all the bikes I be had, I gotta admit the HP4 was the most "telepathic" when operating that thing! Words can't describe how perfect that bike felt at any speed. Even though I'm enjoying the hell out of my S1KRR (Amazing performing machine) the HP4 was the perfect bike. I only traded it because the Anniversario caught my eye with it's more modern tech, like LED lighting, TFT display and overall beauty. I'll see how Sunday is looking and let you know by Wednesday.
BTW, remember this ride...?

Looking forward to it! Yes, I have the silver. Maybe the parking garage lighting makes it seem white...?

I know exactly what you're talking about, since I own the HP4 some things had changed my style of riding.
