It must have been our imagination because POOF he’s gone.

He posted today in the "Where did you find your most recent pre-owned vehicle?" thread.

He's on Bimmerpost right now.

Just my opinion, but mods should only ban for, say 2 years at most. Times change, and people change, with time (mostly). I'm sure many of those who were banned, etc. have moved on from the thought process they had before. Plus, certain flame-inducing threads are also gone. Granted, some these people were just jerks, but even they taught us something about individual thought. Just my 4 cents (inflation). By the way, what was the name of the F4 pilot? Haven't heard much from him, and I hope he is doing well.

There are many people on this forum I would love to meet, grab a bite and chat it up with. I've been on this forum a really, really long time and it would be nice to put faces to names. There are a small handful of you guys/gals I've met in person over the last couple of years, and it was really cool. Whether it was shooting AR-15's with leopard print, grabbing a bite with Fly320s, ezaircon4jc, etc…having a quick parking lot huddle with NorCalAthlete while I'm out on the beat and/or even having a few of you in my patrol car (…who have requested anonymity so I won't mention names) while out patrolling. There are many more who live out of state/country that I would love to meet - too many to list - and I actually plan to when I'm in their respective states/countries:
floridaorange, cmyx6go, minn19, CanAutM3, Thescout13, NickyC, Humdizzle, RugbyBro, swagon, stein_325i, etc…..basically everybody who is a part of, and who contributes to, the "banned" thread and the "law enforcement Q&A" thread, as well as the "firearm" thread. The people in those three threads I interact with the most and have really come to respect, even though we disagree about things.

…and there are a lot of local people I would like to meet including Onesie, Esteban, mahalom3 (…even though we met in person at a car meet right before our LEO ventures), Arcades, King Rudi, UncleWede, rwheels, Mr. Maboomba, F8SEVEN, jmg, R N M, etc.

There are just so many of you to recall at the drop of a hat, but I think you know who you are. If I've ever appreciated/liked your posts, you're on the list.

…and rebekahb owes me a cocktail. Lol!

fiveohwblow needs to show me around Arizona and HeelToeShift and I need to do some 992 GT3 canyon carving (…once I have 992 GT3 ).

Another motorsports-oriented forum I'm on has a progressive ban system and a quarantined political section. Bans from one don't count towards the other, so if you can keep your shit together when talking about non-political stuff, you're good. Anything political either gets deleted by mods or the whole thread gets dumped into the political quarantine zone where you can discuss politics to your heart's content. Political forum access requires acknowledging you're stepping into the ring, so to speak, with others who may not entirely share your point of view or experiences or opinions, thus you will have a more difficult time but please behave and comport yourself with dignity and aplomb.

Bans start at 7 days for the first violation, then 14, 21, 30, 60, & 90. A seventh offense will result in a permanent ban from the forum.

It's a small-ish forum with only about 45k members though so much easier to stay on top of with fewer moderators.

Sedan_Clan - aw, much <3 big sexy. I'll have to bring the new whip down sometime....or you can meet us halfway, we've been discussing the possibility of a midway meetup for the G8X crew (SLO maybe?). BP members who wish to bring their Porsche instead of their BMW will be welcomed but held at arm's length for the photoshoots.

What forum is this that you speak of? Sounds heavenly. No offence BP. Haha.

Since his Porsche isn't good enough, Sedan_Clan should bring his awesome 6 speed Toyota Corolla.

Makes for nice off-roading next to your M2C. Lol!

P.S. Aside from a rain wash, it has only been washed once since you last saw it. It's a horrible, dirty mess.

I can't say there is anyone on my ignore list, I like all yalls.

I just wish that kid who did the weekly stick-drawings for summarizing OT would come back, but I think Lups drowned him when he was servicing her pool.

It would be fun to play a game of soccer with bimmette

I'm SURE once Sedan_Clan gets his P-car he'll invite me back to the skid pad for some DUI demonstration driving

I've had my 992 C2S for 7 months already. It's the GT3 that is elusive. Gah! I need it. I want it.

P.S. Lups hasn't called me in awhile. Is she still alive?!?

It wasn't public knowledge, but I'd publicly thank cmyx6go for chasing me around when my dad passed, making sure I kept my head up.

For what it's worth, sorry about your dad. It's a tough thing to go through.

Agreed! Mine passed January of 2021 and it's still an ongoing process. Probate doesn't help ease things over either.
