I'm pretty sure they still don't have a mod chip out for the ps3 yet which is why i went the 360 route...the controllers are fine for me...nice and small...I don't mind, plus I can use them for my PC games too!

eh if i were you spool i'd return it and get a xbox 360 its only 200bucks now and the xbox live is soooo worth it. You'll get use to the controllers as i did, I think your starting to realize ps3 is going to be expensive haha

I always find it funny how BMW owners can spend so much more than other cars in its class, but don't want to pay for music, video games, or a few hundred more on a mac.

The 360 is a better gaming system if you plan to play with friends a lot. Xbox live is a much better social gaming platform. Most games come out on both systems these days and each have their own exclusives. The PS3 makes a much better media center device as it also plays Blu-ray. So even if you don't game very much, it's still very useful. The hardware is built a lot better as well. Microsoft consoles have always been horribly made. Everyone I know is on their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 360. I'm on my second, but my CD-rom drive doesn't open half the time and I get disc read errors on brand new games.

Yea that's what I play too nothing else or I will play blackjack if I can lock the table up. But that's rare. Usually in the poker room for shifts on end. Have been going to foxwoods lately because its somewhat closer.

Yeah Blu-ray is baller. Especially on the tv you have, you're gonna love it. Plus the Ps3 commmunity is quickly getting better and soon, it'll be a better gaming platform than the 360. Developers just have to get used to all the new potential on Blu-ray discs and whatnot.

Well can't turn back now on the PS3, i just bought a bunch of accessories from Newegg...i'll keep it as an entertainment center, has good interface and is easy to use...compatible with a lot of things i already have

Yeah i have a logitec one....i thought the picture would be distorted with a screen that big, but it's actually clearer and brighter than my lap top's LCD...i'm new to HDMI...never watched TV much but now i'm hooked

just put it on a USB drive and copy it over...i have 500 gigs now to store all my stuff


u can put just about any video stuff on ur PS3, with exception of MKV files, cannot play those right now...hopefully in time

The PS3 is the best system out there for me. I've used all of them and only kept the PS3. However not for the gaming purpose. The system do offer some great games but more importantly the capability of this system is insane. My entire entertainment system is tied into the PS3. I stream photos, movies, shows, music from online and also from my network HD. Hell with the latest update (which support full flash for websites), surfing the net from the couch is awesome. And who can turn down that crazy blu-ray quality.

Q. Do you have to install an operating system to use the internet. . .and if you install an operating system can you install programs. . .like say PokerStars software.
