I think everyone has one channel/tv show which is a guilty pleasure and for me on YouTube it's DDE. They have slick videos along with some glorious automotive sound from straight piped V12s etc., you just have to look past a lot of the childish buffoonery.

My Youtube watch list- I'm stateside so I generally prefer videos from the states..

- I Do Cars (He typically does engine teardowns, Guy owns a salvage business, and has a sweet spot for BMW's)
-Kern417 (Great content for B58's)
-Vehicular DIY ( BMW DIY stuff... Not overly commercialized...)
-Nathans BMW workshop
-Thic Whips
-Jamies Garage
-Richard Holdener ( Generally american V8/LS info)
-Hoonigan
-FCP EURO
-RK Motorsports ( Friend of mine, sport bike channel)

M539 Restorations is therapeutic for me. His attention to detail and doing everything by the book is thoroughly satisfying.

The first one is heavily sponsored (always pushing that mIsHiMoTo garbage) but typical Cali vibe with clean custom builds and emphasis on aesthetics. Entertaining more than anything else.

The second is more track builds and technically proficient. Educational as well as entertaining.

The last two are mainly car restorations and rebuilds. Manipulating mangled metal to perform frame repair is fascinating.
