Why coop? well it give you "real world" experience and it will take longer, which will help you land a better job when this storm is out of the way.

WTF are you looking for a job in Gaysville? There isn't anything in that city except for UF. Tallahassee isn't much better but at least it is the capital. If you have to look to move to a larger city such as Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, or even Orlando. Unless you plan to work for UF you won't find much work in Gainesville.

There is no such thing as "cheap stocks". That's one of the biggest ways that people get in trouble: They think that there is less money to lose in penny-type stocks... But you have to invest the same amount of money in them as you do in higher priced stocks to receive an equal return.

But like I said, the main employer is UF. Look into getting an administrative job with them like in the admissions office or something. If you don't find anything at the main level, try looking at the individual college level, like the College of Business or something.

Yeah, at this point the best options you have now are to find a "get me by" job now and wait till you find what you are really looking for, or head back to grad school and make yourself even more marketable. That's why I'm in grad school now, even my "guaranteed a job before you graduate" accounting degree didn't get me exactly the job I was looking for as I was leaving undergrad last month. So, now I'm in the MAcc program at Alabama (a top 20 graduate accounting school) and getting my CPA out of the way in the process. So far I'm glad I made my decision (and once football season rolls around again next fall I'll be even more glad

). Hopefully the master's and CPA will make me more marketable with the big firms in the next job search once I'm done.

i don't mean invest in shitty companies believe I've done my homework before i invested my money. I meant like i put my some of my money in AIG when it was super low because i know the government won't allow them to fail even if it does take a year or two there going to raise up again........i hope

i'm getting the brake pads replaced here in gville (they're literally down to less than an 1/8th of an inch; the pedal travel is so long and they're extremely mushy), then i'm taking it down to st. pete.

basically my post whoring is going to go up again, sorta like it was about a month or two ago, when it was taken away again (around the time the chatroom was made). no car where i live = no social life.
