Wouldn't you say the c63 is more of a competitor with the m3? AMG's are a league above our basic 3 series modded or not. Just in terms of build quality materials etc...

a good tune and he's history, that with good driving.

im have a SSTT and i beat a C55 AMG, not by much but still.

C350=335i (no match)
C300=328i

To answer...the slk would win stock to stock. Tuned 335 is a different story.

What engine do they put in those?

I had a go with a C55 amg (05?) a couple days ago and walked away at pretty high speeds with V3 on stage 1.

I think they use the same motors.

yup, same engine as C55, and the SLK55s are fast! Not just straight line either. Your only chance is with a tune. GL

he'll pull on you. that car is pretty light for a mercedes... plus like someone else mentioned, merc's v8s have a ton of torque

The SLK can start earthquakes with it's exhaust note. The Z4 feels pedestrian in comparison with it's straight 6 from the Old M3. That 5.5L is just extremely exciting and is just a better Penis Substitute.

It really is not a race till BMW manages to shoehorn a V8 in the new one.Well, all in a days work for them as they finally seem to have made it a hardtop.
