All good above, there's always variations, but the bottom line is get the loose stuff off, I rinse fist with the hose, then foam, let it sit but not dry on paint, rinse the 2nd time, foam again and wash, one bucket or two, doesn't matter because if there's anything on the paint you drag, then you scratch! But moving along, final rinse is with filtered demineralized water, drying method can vary as well. Blow dry and wipe, if wiping use a detail spray to reduce any surface tension, etc. Clay 2x per year, polish once... I should follow my own rules as my car needs a full detail and haven't done it yet, lol.

I'm 5 years in and there's barely a swirl here or there. You're gonna get them no matter what, you just want to reduce the possibility to as close to eliminating it as you can.

I would say like the others if it works it’s a great system for you .

Myself for my bmw …. I have tried many a products and methods in fear or doing the wash wrong on my car .

I have settled on Jimbo’s super soaker the PH is higher and nothing cleans like it for me … I did my car and my sons yesterday and used another high end soap and it’s trash compared to the clean I get with super soaper … my car is frozen black so I had to do a crash course of learning . Tried all the BMW products all of the good ones and I believe what jimbo says most scratches on black cars are from the owners I was heading down that road … I believe in hands free washing like said in earlier posts.. I didn’t pre rinse my car doesn’t get that dirty . If it does I ll spray that area .
Then I use Jimbo’s hard as shell ceramic spray it’s new … I use on gloss paint cars and even my very very picky frozen black paint I was petrified to use it … I failed with others before on this frozen black and Jimbos hard as shell did it I tried inside the doors first and other areas and I use it when drying the car on the towel after air dryer . Then I cover it in doors .

Good luck with your washing sounds great to me
