As expected, the upcoming 4 Runner riding on the G platform or vice versa, looks good as well. My nod goes to the GX moreso. But 4 Runner fans will be pleased.

In! I sold my 2016 4Runner... boring but solid, no Tech. But if the new one looks like that I'd be interested!

Damnit. This came up in my feed earlier and now I can't find it.

Pricing is actually better then I expected. Even for top of the line trim.

Agreed! In fact, I see a number of 80s/90's SUV design cues here, including the Nissan Patrol, Isuzu Trooper, Mitsubishi Pajero/Shogun, etc. Very happy they went with this rugged, muscular look. Overly rounded/curvy/sleek design elements on off-roaders have always looked weird and out of place to me.

Saw this at the auto show recently.

Maybe I'm just not a truck or Lexus person, but this just looks like a Toyota in real life, and the interior is 100% Toyota in design/ergonomics, just with some squishier materials. There is nothing special about the inside of this car, the frumpy 2-series sedan has more thought put into the interior design and material choices than this thing.

Don't even get me started on how lazy an effort the TX is..
