Yes it does for sure but only in stage 2 with high torque levels
Any car if u push it hard will bend rods
But compared to f10 is much better
Also the g90 ice engine is detuned to 577 hp so pushing it to 700 hp with piggy or stage 2 will not bend rods
I lived with m8 for almost 6 years with jb4 map 3 e30 mix as a daily and never had a single issue
S58 is much better overall for tuning and can push it up to 1000 hp with no issues but f90 is not bad as people think

YEP. if you are serious about increased and reliable power, you should ABSOLUTELY get carillo rods, mahle pistons, and clevite coated main and rod bearings from VAC. it’s less expensive than a new engine or full rebuild.
if you feel like going the extra mile you can also install a liquid meth injection system that significantly lowers engine temps to cope with the increased power.
