I am having a very difficult time deciding which color looks best on it. I'm a massive fan of MBB on my X5M but doesn't seem to pop on this platform as much. I find myself changing my mind every other day.

I wouldn't presume to say "have you seen MBB on a G90 in person?", as based on your post history you most likely have.

What I can say is that, initially, without seeing it in person I wasn't sold on it either. When my dealership happened to have one that had arrived for a customer and my CA said "hey...take a look at this", I went for a lil walk and my entire perspective on it changed just like that.

Whoa, it DID pop and I was instantly sold (and my MBB is just about finished production now). To me it screams classic BMW. Even my wife, who pretty much disagrees on every color I like in cars, saw it and was like "wow." A rare consensus....on car colors, at least.

Admittedly I have not seen the G90 or G99 in MBB in the flesh. That might be the problem. I still marvel at my MBB X5M when its clean and the light hits it just right.

That's how I felt with my Sakhir Orange F80. When it was clean and the sun was out, man I could just stare at it forever. It had a crazy differing character depending upon the light situation. Direct sunlight and the metallic orange was something very chameleon like. In the shade on a sunny day or later in the afternoon and it suddenly takes on this deep but fire-like red character.

Admittedly, I only saw MBB on the G90 twice and both times were under dealer lighting but in those conditions it really popped.

I'm hoping that in sunlight it takes on a similar character that SO did.

These are a wonderful little gathering of G99's, something special for sure. Thank you for taking the time to share.

I believe Archie did a video on these a few days back if my memory serves me correctly?
He did, popped in early last week 👍

SO was an insane color. Dawn and dusk the car just had golden ripples running lines where the light changed.

I don't know if I would do it again now 10 years later and being 38, but that was a stunning color for sure. I did Amaro Brown Full Leather - was absolutely perfect.

Gorgeous cars, especially like the Oxford Green. Not sure if anyone noticed, but they put the steering wheel on the wrong side of those cars.

The M5 Touring is looking good, just love the Oxford Green, I seen a few M5 saloons in frozen black and it’s doesn’t enhance its bulk/ stealth, but these colours on the touring are spot on.
Thanks for posting I will now revisit the car I previously decided was fugly!
Off to dealer tomorrow anyway so will see if they have one!
