not bad bill but maybe go take the same shot actually on the street to get more of a "subject" involved... I think it might be a little more engaging to the viewer

My D300 has multiple exposure capability, with up to 10 exposure on one image. I've read the Canon 40D doesn't have this capability, but I don't know about the 50D and up.

I just happened to take this 2 days ago. I rarely take long exposure shots but this one was taken at 30 seconds, f/11 at 10 mm with a Nikon D300 on a tripod.

Wow, now that's some impressive distortion.

(That's not criticism, either. It really is impressive.)

Thanks UdubBadger. Oh on top of the 30 second exposure.. it was like 40 degrees out. After a while I was numb to the cold. This was taken in Ottawa Canada. I just flew back yesterday.

Damn I have to go out and buy a tripod cus my old one broke (24-70mm lens too heavy for it- lol). Can anyone recommend a quality one that is not too expensive? Something that's $100 or so but can be found online for around $60 would be good.

Invest in a better tripod now and it won't ever break! You don't have to break the bank either. I bought a Bogen 3021 15 years ago, and it is still going strong. I think I paid $125 for the tripod and another $50 for the head. Cost per year? $18! Cheap! The only drawback is the weight (9lbs) an that is only when I feel like hiking in somewhere to get a shot. Deployed from a car trunk, no problem at all!

I'd love to upgrade mine to a Gitzo with a RRS ball head. But that is some bank and will have to wait until I've got a few other more essential accessories.
