when my older sister graduated we had a party for her and I would probably say everyone gave her money lol to say the least she was very happy that she had collected 2gs to pay for some bills.

I thought it was stupid too....until I became a professional and started working and all the other gentlemen had their own nice pens and I was using plastic pens. That's when I went to that drawer I kept all those shitty things I thought I would never use and pulled out that pen I got for graduation.

I can remember only two specific things I got for my college graduation:
Class Ring with my fraternity crest and degree on the side (Thanks dad!) Glock 23 (Thanks dad!) Glock 23, as in a handgun? Yep! My dad bought me a Glock 23 as a graduation gift. That was 15 years ago. Guess what, I still have it and actually carry it every day. I wore the class ring for about 13 years, but decided to take a break from it. The Glock however is still a constant, daily companion. A handgun may not be the answer for your brother, but what is he passionate about? Find that thing, and he'll remember and cherish it forever.

I like the stripper idea, but if you want to be more practical see what he has for an MP3 player. If he really likes music get him a high-end set of ear buds. It makes a HUGE difference over the standard Apple buds.

For those that suggested cash, it's sounding pretty good right about now. lol
I could be like "hey I tried but couldn't come up with anything so here's some cash." Easy enough. ![]() |

Too bad you can't hold out. New Iphone is coming out in August. Maybe you could pre-order it and give him the receipt?

what he'd probably appreciate most at this point is a cash gift. the appreciation might not last as long as if you were to give him something meaningful he would use later on in life....but since you haven't given any direction as to his interests or projected future, i can only assume you yourself do not know him well enough to choose such a gift. just my 2 cents

![]() But on serious note, he likes traveling but I can't afford to send him off to Europe or Asia. He also likes aviation so I was thinking a model airplane or something but I doubt it's something he would want as a graduation gift. I think I will just give him the money and have him buy whatever it is he wants. |
