there are only a few things i can eat 'alone'. i cant eat kabobs because i think eating a whole (or half or whatever) tomato and shit like that is gross. i also hate mushrooms

Ohh I just thought of one: wedding/birthday cakes. If it's ice cream cake it's fine but I just really hate the taste of the cream on those kind of cakes. NASTY!!

here are the main things I stay away from.
FISH(i like shrimp/crab leg/lobster) LAMB ONIONS (I like them to be cooked) AVOCADO TOMATO(I eat pizza and ketchup though) CHEESE THAT SMELL LIKE ASS aka blu cheese and Parmesan ![]() I also hate cold pizza. It has to be fucking hot. ![]() |

Of foods I've actually eaten:
Liver (it's ok the first bite into it, then it has a "sandy" texture to it as it's tough and "falls apart" into "sand" in your mouth). Tripe; I haven't had American or Western styled tripe, but I've had it at a Cambodian restaurant before; it was tough and chewy Tomatoes: Like many of you...I can't stand raw tomatoes! I love ketchup, tomato sauce, such as on a spaghetti or pizza, etc. But I cannot stand tomatoes, even on a hamburger or something! Of Foods I'll Never be Brave Enough to Try: Be-lot (or however you spell it): Filipino egg dish with fully formed chicken inside. Just can't do it... Escargot: Saw it on Wikipedia...no, no way. There's a few ethnic foods I've heard of from friends who have eaten it themselves, or have gone somewhere and had to eat it out of politeness. Here's the most extreme I've heard of: My friend went somewhere in southern Latin America. He stayed with a poor group of people, and a meal they shared there involved a live goat. The goat was suspended from ceiling, and they would shave off pieces of meat, cook it over a fire, and eat it. He said the goat would squeel and scream as they did it, then relax for a while only to do it again when they scraped off more meat. My dad did his dissertation in Brazil (where he also met my mother). A dish he had there was a noodle dish with what he thought at the time were spiders on the noodles. They were alive and moving. His friend showed him that they were actually crabs, and you eat them alive. However, this was not the most "alive" dish he would consume in Brazil. He had a crab dish served to him (admittedly he had to get drunk to consume it), where they were soft shelled crabs, and you would take one and make an incision in it somewhere. Then you would "suck it out" of it's shell. He told me it was gross because you could feel it still pulsating in your mouth, still moving, still alive. How awful for the crab!
