one of my college roomies had a carbon high beam and really liked it...I'm a Burton man myself but sometimes I find myself wanting to get a NS. Here's a pic...didn't have to pull it out of the closet after all!

Sick setup fellas!!!
Never tried Rome but I would love to ride it. As for GNU, it was my board before this one. No complaints! I've become a Burton homer too. Dying to get a new Burton snowboard with EST. |

I really need to order my bindings soon. This year sucks because I need EVERYTHING...board, boots, bindings, coat, gloves and goggles. Shit is so expensive... |

mine is reverse camber with waffled edge. i didn't like it at first because it wobbles a little when you haul ass, but you get used to it really quick. i don't really do park, so i can't comment on that.

yezzir...my board/boots/bindings were about $1400 but that was a few years ago (05-06). burton has a board now that's $1500! and you'll like that Rome, I had another friend (way sicker than me on a board) that swears by Rome. I'm sure if you keep an eye on Ebay you can find a good deal on an EVO too. Now I'm looking at wakeboards and Hyperlite has one for $800! Is this inflation or what! lol

nice solefald! I bought my first Gnu snowboard like 12 years ago in SLC. In recent years I have just been renting a demo deck on every trip and bringing my boots/bindings as nobody seems to rent gear for my incredibly flat skinny feet.... plus its sort of a PITA lugging that thing thru customs n such.
<3 to all the shredders, someone should organize a e90 ski trip. |

If you're looking for 2009 gear, most shops have that stuff on clearance. I haven't looked online lately but I know the shop by my house has all snow stuff at 70% off. If you know what you want, I can maybe look to see if they have it for you.

yep, i have a stepchild jibstick 153, honestly the best board i have ever ridden. i have burton cartels on there, and it i cant get enough of this reverse camber stuff, it is really soft and flexy, works miracles in powder, and is unbelievable in the park, slides are so much more focused and controlled, presses are much easier, and jumps are really easy to pop out of this board.
i also have an uninc 154 with the seal on in it with burton c60 bindings and a solomon scotty arnold 5000 with burton p1 speed zone bindings. i have ridden utah, nice dry powder similar to colorado, however my favorite snow is the PNW snow, in my area i get to play with o Summit at snoqualmie o Alpental o MT. Baker o Steven's Pass o White Pass o Crystal Mountain o Whistler Blackcomb o BC mountains the powder around here is very heavy and wet, it stays around for a long time unlike the midwest [colorado, utah] areas where the powder is all gone at the end of one riding day. plus we just get more snow here than those places
