you get what you pay for with snowboard gear.
that being said there are some sites like sierra snow board that has good boards cheap you dont want to go cheap. Burton is well know and make really good stuff. My boot/bindings are burton. I actually rode 1 season before i bought my gear, i unknownling bough a vapor as my first own board. i didnt know what it was till i got home.....way to learn how to ride haha. have fun out there....and buy a jacket that will keep the snow out of your back in case you fall.

burton is wayyyyy overrated, but they are a great starter board. i love my uninc, but i am a bigger fan of stepchild
