Looking at some pics, I was a bit disappointed that GT decided to mount the Advan AO48 backwards. Odd that they were so anal about designing the game yet they miss the small things.

impressions on the Time Trial from IGN...apparently it's much much better than Prologue was, they go far enough to say that Prologue isn't even indicative of how good the final product should be |

OMG the physics are so different. It actually feels like driving a real car. If you have a steering wheel for the ps3 download the demo and play with it. I don't know how anyone would be able to control that car with a controller.

Physics are awesome, but there is definitely more of a learning curve now. Im 16th overall right now with a 1'37.257 in the tuned car and 1'49.983 in the normal car. I only did a couple laps with the normal car so hopefully I can lose a second there...

Wheel. Ive spent the last 6 years racing in real life, amateur racing of course, but the experience makes it alot easier to go fast on GT. Just stay smooth with your inputs and use the whole track. Its all about momentum. Time is made exiting the corners not going into them...

Damn... so I just started playing and so far I'm currently stuck at 363rd for Tuned car TT with a time of 1'39.092 ....using a controller though..... do most of you find it easier with the steering wheel? Haven't decided whether its a necessary investment or not...
and they just had to release it at the end of March.... right before all my finals ![]()

The demo is broken if using a controller - its crap. Not tried a wheel yet but my rig is setup for Forza so won't bother probably.

I made 1:59 with a normal car using a controller. Every tap on the controller counts. LoL!

GT5 is delayed again: http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/61924
They say it's delayed in Japan, but not elsewhere, which meant the US release date was targeted sometime Summer 2010 anyways.
