Yes it does -__-

theirs a thread on it on 6speed.

Btw, I heard the 997.1 GT3's had a problem with pads on the track. Since you tracked yours already how do the pads hold up?

I like the color combo but more the interior, very unique.

Curious, why didnt you get yellow, red, or white?

Sport chrono DOES NOT do anything for the 2010 GT3s. In regular 997s, you need sport chrono in order to get the sport button. The sport button comes standard in the 2010 GT3, so a sport chrono is just $1600 in the toilet on a 2010 GT3.

Devo and I both have 997.2 GT3s. The PCCBs perform amazingly, and there are no pads issues. I put 300 track miles, in one day. The tires, well, are another story...

No it does not, sorry. I don't care what you think the guys at six speed or whatever say, Sport Chrono does nothing for a GT3 like it does for other cars. I've owned enough Porsche 911s to know.

The sport button comes standard on a GT3 without Sports Chrono. With the Sport button you get additional low-mid torque AND it opens the muffler flaps allowing the car to sound like it should.

Oh, with Sport Chrono you can look at the ugly dash wart and change some door lock features on your own (of course the dealer can do this also); yeah that's worth it.

I did not track mine nor have I driven it yet due to the snow. I assume you are asking JMD the track question but considering that you referenced my post I wasn't certain.

Besides judging from two of your posts it is easy to read you. You have no problem telling JMD that he should have gotten SC when in fact -as we pointed out- you are wrong. I also have to say -or post that is- that I would not tell someone who just spend big money that they should have ordered an option that they did not have, whether the car was a 911, an M3 or a Honda; that's just plain rude. And, I certainly wouldn't ask someone why they didn't get a color other than the one they got or ask about a brake pad rumor, whether fact or fiction.

Go ahead and back pedal all you want or make me the fall guy, I DON'T CARE, you are simply discourteous to others.

Oh, while I'm at it: you used the word "theirs" incorrecty. It should be there, then you would add an apostrophe and then an s. Like this: there's. If you are foreign to the english language then I understand and it's no biggie, if not, well... you get the drift.

Sorry for the OT banter again congrats to JMD for a beautiful ride.

Thanks. That day it was 32-47 degrees while I was there from 9am to 3pm. I have the pirelli corsa summer tires which did not really help and I was driving with SC+TC OFF, but I still managed a 1:30.2 lap time under those conditions. Not all my laps were timed though. Im sure I can get it down to 1:24 or less with better weather and better track tires. I was hitting 155 mph on the straightaway right before the braking zone.

Couldn't agree more. And for anyone still doubting for whatever reason, JMD and devo are both absolutely correct regarding Sports Chrono.

Amazing car, and stunning pictures. Enjoy it!

Awesome car, nice meeting you at auto supershield. I hope your paint protection did better than mine. Since it was a rainy day its started to peel.
