Very little of Mozart appeals to me for driving. Baroque music, however, makes for perfect accompaniment for a drive on a sunny autumn day. Something about counterpoint, strings and Bach...

Rush - Red Barchetta
Truly an essential driving tune.. especially timely when ripping through the gears in a powerful machine.

For something different Griot's Garage used to sell a fun CD with race car sounds. While listening to this CD it is very easy to creep up to triple digit speeds. A few of the James Bond soundtrack sounds are great driving sounds also.

I find Queens of the Stone Age to be great driving rock music. Songs For the Deaf, and some tracks off Rated R and Lullabies to Paralyze really bring out the lead foot in me.
