Ok I'll chime in here, first and foremost it was a "verbal commitment" no LOI signed. Kid has probably 4 or 5 more years of H.S. if he doesnt get injured or just burned out then he's gonna have to fight off every major college coach for his signature. Now the kid may be a prodigy but also he may not grow another inch from now till then. Also when I was in H.S. coaches came to the school and our coaches only let jr's and sr's talk to them, no way would a 7th grader be able to talk to them. I got letters when I was in 10th grade but they were always sent to our coach at school and he gave them out. No contact was done unless it was set up by our coach.

Second, for a 13yr old the kid's mechanics look flawless, a lot of DII Qbs cant hit some of those long out patterns that he was hitting with ease. I also think Lane Kiffin is a first class scumbag and hopefully USC gets hit with some sanctions.
