I quit December 20th. Haven't had one since. but i've had dreams of taking a drag and I felt terrible afterward for failing myself and giving in. Glad it was a dream.

I've taken a break from smoking marijuana after smoking it almost daily for the past 8 years.

I would only smoke once or twice a day, but I recently went through some crazy health issues that scared the shit out of me and I decided to take a break for a good 6 months.

+1 anyone? curious to find out as well!

if it takes you 2 or 3 months to finish a pack, you're fine. your body is more than capable of filtering that shit. Smoking is bad when you intake more nasty shit than your body can clean and it builds up.

I think living in LA and breathing the smoggy ass air everyday is worse than smoking a a pack every 3 months.

I am getting ready to quit for the 2nd time. the 1st time lasted about 6 months. I just ordered some E-cigs so I can take a hit when I can't suppress the urge. or when I am drinking. My logic is after I quit last time, I started smoking again when I get super wasted, and I noticed I only wanted 1 or 2 hits, but since I don't want to waste the cig, I end up smoking almost the whole thing. So with the Ecig, I can just take a hit or two and put it away. Plus it's got no tar and all the other poisons.

social smoking turned into everyday smoking for me, just a heads up.

going on 4 days without a cigarette and it feels great.

also can't justify $11/pack, ridiculous!

most people on average have like 5 years of smoking time before the smoking actually begins to deteriorate your pulmonary system.

nicotine by itself isn't that bad.

anytime you burn plant material and inhale it, it's bad cause you introduce carcinogens into your pulmonary system.

I quit on June 27th. Feelin' good! I did it because I saw my Grandmother battling lung cancer (she smoked for 60 years). So I just said, screw it.

I smoke American Spirit cigarattes. I don't know if it helps with being less carcinogenic, but I've given it a try because the label says it is organic and has no additives like other popular brands have such as rat poison and hundreds of chemicals.

I can't really drink because it makes me gain a lot of weight so from time to time I smoke these cigarettes back to back to back. It's the damn stresses of life, I guess.

I went to Body Worlds here in L.A. several years ago and there was a show case of a lung of a healthy person (clean, practically flawless), a lung of a coal miner (partial dark), and a lung of a smoker (pitch black). I thought it was pretty cool.

The exhibit, as a whole, was awesome.

I never understood the point of smoking. Aside from being harmful to your body, it takes a toll on the pocket too.

If you want to release stress, just jerk off like all the other men out there.
