This color is not my cup of tea...so is the wood interior.

but It makes him happy and it shows that BMW is willing to listen when it comes to customization.

Loved the video.

cracked me up when they said "it all started with this great piece of wood" ...Thats what she said.

Very impressed!

Love the wood, the colour combo is very unique, it definitely goes well with the Hawaii theme.

That's definitely a car lover, just in a different way.

Really nice job, and it wont get any more individual than that!

And all you whiners who complain about his M6, show your own individual M series so we can compare.

I am going to use an overused line: "Beauty is in eye of the beholder."

I am happy for him because he experienced something that brings him joy. If you have your own opinion please keep it to yourself if it is offensive because you personally would want the same. Anyways, I hope one day to experience something same.

This guy is on M5board. I remember when he was planning the car out.

The interior is gorgeous and I think the car would be perfect if the exterior was sepang bronze instead of that color

+1...... Totally Agree!!!

I bet the owner don't care if anyone likes his car or not. This is the point of BMW Individual, to be able to build a car to your "Individual' Taste.

NO...haha...I was agreeing with you on the dickness of the other dude!!

BTW...I think his car is awesome, even though I would not have picked that exterior! He looks genuinely happy and that's also really cool.

Nothing against his choice of color, wood w/e. But the 6 Series looks horrid and the color somehow makes it look less savory. I can easily picture it on an XK8, DB9 or even the Mercedes CL.

That color combo grows on me everytime I think about it.

I wonder how much dime he spent on it though.

I think the color looks much better in photo than video. Very nice!

The Individual combo on that M6 looks good, but there was something about Christine that made me rewind that video a couple of times just to take another look at her...

Can I ask two questions:
1) How does a 'programmer' make enough $$ to afford a $200K car (I'm assuming it was around $200K or so)? Is he the next Larry Ellison? This car is amazing!
2) Can I just drop in unannounced on BMW M during my ED and talk to them??

The color is horrible on that car. I can see that on a 7 maybe. Same goes for the wood. When I think of any M car, I just can't fit gold and wood into it. I'm happy that Mr. Carson is happy, but if they only choose two people a year, I would be more selective of what they are going to put out there, especially if they are going to promote the PR. I feel bad for the other guys that probably had some real good ideas for individual and couldn't get it done.
