i just don't see them convincing anyone that a minivan, even if made by ferrari, can maintain the same driving spirit as its coupe or sedan counterparts. it will simply be a dodge caravan with a BMW emblem on it with some more in-car tech toys as well as 500% higher price.

well, i just hope they'll get this one right. the second set of door are so little they might not as well be there at all, which i guess is the definition of a 4-door coupe. if it's priced right, it could definitely be an instant hit.

Those aren't suicide doors. The rear doors hinge from the front.

i dont think they're trying to convince anyone its gonna be the same as a coupe or sedan. neither are SUVs but the x3, x5, cayenne and other are selling well. i think people who buy minivans are able to get over themselves and get the vehicle best suited to their needs. a minivan is much more practical for most families than an SUV, but i guess most people are too wrapped up in themselves to drive a minivan. sorry, my SUV hating is comin out again, but damn those soccer moms drive like maniacs and blind me with their high lights!!
