Yes I do know the difference between the two as I had one of the fastest bpu cars in the country a few years ago. I like how you get on everyone else about not sticking to the actual argument. You stated the that 2jz-ge is hella weaker that the gte. I am pretty sure the rods are the same unless your referring to the IS300 variant which has vvti. You are correct about teh lower compression, the oil squirters, the head, and the intake mani. However, like someone stated earlier oil squirters are not needed when building a motor. A lot of the high horsepower/big shop cars have used a GE block to make big power. I am a big fan of the GTE but there is no reason to make a ridiculous claim about the GE being "hella" weaker.

any numbers as far as 1/4 mile or top speed? I have gone 9.90's with 560rwhp @135 on drag radials in my mustang 700 should be good for low 9's . I really liked my 04 IS300 the car is built very well ..
