She will be held accountable for her actions, but in the end it won't be enough to give anyone the satisfaction they are looking for.

If the outcome for pleading insanity wasn't more favorable than the alternative, why is it so prevalent? I'm not saying it's a walk in the park but it's an easier way out than straight up jail.

I realize there are people with mental disorders that may do things other people may not do because of these disorders. But that raises the issue of how far to you want to take it? I'm sure an argument can be made for every single person being crazy because of slight differences in perception that people are so quick on the draw to label as disorders. Hell, there is medication available for restless leg syndrome!

Some people are better at dealing with things than others, some people are better at accepting facts of life than others, be them having less money than someone, not receiving enough attention from someone, or just general differences in optimistic and pessimistic attitudes, but does that make anyone worse off than the arbitrary "norm" a fucking mental patient when they pull some shit and try to get away with it? No way. Read the quotes from her family - this chick is just a lying brat.
