What do you guys know about these? Any problems with the 2010s. Bugs? Brother is looking and I'm doing some research. Might as well go fro the S right? Or is the regular one good enough?

Get the S. Sat in one today. They are beautiful cars. While the exterior is controversial, the ride quality and build quality are remarkable.

They are something once inside. I also have a 996TT. These are totally different cars for a totally different experience.

996TT's are the bargain right now, and really are well built for the abuse.

i disliked the panamera until i saw my friends S. Silver with espresso interior.

Got a ride in it and I've never ridden in anything so top notch.

Go for the Panamera 4S, it's awd system gives it the edge on handling and it's torque vectoring keeps the nose in check as well.

Thanks for the opinions guys. Got to try the regular and S version. Must say I love my car Anyways, the V6 was gutless imo didn't like the pdk either. Now the S is a whole another story, but I think he is going to hold off on the Panamera since it is hard to get much of a discount right now. I didn't know they were selling so well. You have to get the V8 in this car IMO.

If you guys had to pick a panamera S or 4S vs. the 750i which one would you pick and why? My uncle is currently deciding between these two cars.

I'd pick the 750i hands down for looks, porsche for handling. Tell your uncle to look at the jaguar xfr. I had the same dilemma and I went with the jag, almost a year later I could not be happier. The jag will blow both these cars away (all but the Porsche turbo) and the jags half the price.

How is the jaguar in terms of reliability. He's a very busy man and a car thats going to be in the shop all the time will drive him nuts. At least with a bmw I know he'll always get a loaner vehicle and awesome service.

^^^It will be a year in November...Its been in the shop once for a Recall on a fuel pump reprogram.

Iam a BMW fan as well. I currently own a 2011 X5 50i and prior to the Jag i had a 335i. Iam gonna give the Jag better grades so far for reliability.

I had RSC tuning remap the ECU, new pulley and exhause, its pushing about 570ish HP. Such a fun car to drive as a daily driver. and very comfy.

Here are the loaner cars i had when it was in.

Recall- I got a 2006 Mercedes benz CLS AMG
Oil change- Porsche Cayman

Sure beats a shitty 323i

The interior is incredible on these cars and regardless of the ugly bloated exterior, it truly is a sports car.

Meh, Panamera will always get more looks than a BMW

Can't wait until the front wheel drive BMW's that get slotted below the1 series come in?

Jaguar...is rear wheel drive, no all wheel...and its a Jag...take that however you want to...its one of those cars that, its nice on paper...but would you pay for one and drive it for 10 years?

I must agree that the Panamera design is controversial when viewed on paper. The lines on this vehicle defy the principles of photography and only a fraction of the images capture the essence of the vehicle.

But view this beast in the flesh and its breathtaking.This is a car with tremendous physical presence. Resonates Porsche bloodline from every possible angle. The front is unmistakably Porsche....the rear is reminiscent of the 911 with minimal stretch of the imagination...and the integration of the rear door into the trunk/rear section is some impressive sculpting....

I could wax lyrical about the interior,which is consistently compared to the Bentley with respect to quality, fit and finish.

And then of course there's the performance and handling......Thoroughbred Porsche pedigree on every level.

The Turbo is regarded as the worlds fastest production sedan, and does hold the record for fastest sedan at Nurburgring.
It was tested by Car and Driver as 0 to 100km/h at 3.4 secs, 0.2 secs faster then the last 911 turbo they reviewed.
The blistering performance figures are attributed to the precise PDK double clutch transmission.

I picked up my loaded Black on Black Turbo a week ago and my life has never been the same ;-)
I bought this car sight unseen...well I guess I did see the car fleetingly when on vacation in Dubai six months ago....but I had read every article on the turbo and viewed hundreds of pics online of both the standard and modded versions.
I must confess that on my way to take delivery I was apprehensive, but all my doubts evaporated when I finally layed eyes on the vehicle on the showroom floor.....it was love at first sight.
