i'm probably going to do a temporary switch to evo.... epic is pretty freaking stellar though.
awesome screen, keyboard when you need it, and swype is freaking AMAZING.

Droid X (motorola)...awesome but ive noticed that if battery is really low it doesnt like to be turned on until i give it a good charge...probably just how its built.

alotta the new phones are like that it seems...gotta let it charge for 5-10 minutes before it'll turn back on. guessing because of the amount of charge the phones use

ya that still drives me nuts...it's not often but if you're in an emergency and need to make a call with a dead or almost dead battery.... almost wish that there was some 'reserve' that the phones held for such cases

With iphone coming to Verizon many are excited.. I however can't do the whole touchscreen thing. I abuse the hell out of my phones and I'm a greasy Italian

iphone 4 with ATT. I'm with others, the phone is great, ATT sucks and their plans are way overpriced.

A dirty solution is to use the iphone on tmobile but you lose some functionality (3g, mms, visual voicemail)

I'm about to be another one. Very seriously considering eating the early cancellation fees...network has gotten notably worse and worse this past year, not just for Iphone users but all AT&T phones (company has cell contracts with AT&T)

While not always the case, it just boils down to (albeit legal) anti-competitive firm behavior (exclusivity agreement) diminishing consumer surplus

Droid X - Held out for a Verizon iPhone long enough, played around with the droids and love the OS. My iTouch feels tiny now, and even though it's the wifi model, I seldom use it anymore for anything other than listening/downloading music. The X handles all the browsing/apps/games now...

another perfect example of apple's fuck up.... they left multiple own sectors open (verizon, sprint, tmobile) and allowed all of these, otherwise easy consumers, to get experience with other devices.

I know a buncha people that held out for the iphone, never got it, got a droid phone instead, and love it....see no need for the iphone going forward.

This might be a little over the top...but had Apple handled it correctly, I firmly believe they could have held 60-70% of the average consumer share (not including B2B phones)

stupid apple.

jailbroken iPhone 4. love it and have no complaints about AT&T except for the plan prices. and like someone else said, the death grip is def overhyped. i don't use the free case i got and still haven't dropped a call yet
