Yeah the exhausts kill it really. Other than that, I'd rank it above most of what BMW has, and most certainly leaps and bounds above the pug (1er) or pre-LCI e90.

Easy tiger. Don't lump us into either one of those categories.

I can guarantee you that the IS-F was not the first car to have fake exhaust tips. As a matter of fact, the LP640 came out a year before it and it's giant exhaust tip is fake. That's why saying that the F01's fake tips are a copy of the IS-F makes no sense. At all.

The US-spec pre-LCI E90 without some cosmetic alterations looks bad. Much worse than the IS-F, exhaust stacks included. There's no debating that.

Ya I agree... But with the lambo it cleans up the back end.... Plus its pieces not completely fake...

Here's a better pic from the Seattle auto show a few weeks back. How does this "clean up" the back end? It looks even more disconnected than the IS F or the 7 series.

The Lambo and 7 series exhausts are what are truly fake. At least the IS F was designed with functionality in mind. The F is set up in such a way that the exhaust layout creates added downforce at speed.

When I say the IS-F exhaust looks awful I'm saying that because they are stacked on top of each other. Not only because they have fake tips. I do like the looks of the car though, just wish it came in manual.

Yeah it's not the fake tips that get me either. It's the way they are put together. It just makes no sense visually. It's an easy fix though.

The manual comment is a fair statement.

But will you dislike this too when it comes out because it's "stacked" on top of each other as well?

I'm not trying to convince anyone to "like" the IS F....I could really give a rat's ass....but the exhaust bashing is lame and not based on facts. Lexus was not the first, and won't be the last to try a different set up, and as mentioned before, at least it's is functional.

I said before I like the IS-F, just not the way they designed the exhausts. So to answer your question I might like that car as a whole, but those exhausts still look stupid to me. Just my opinion though, it doesn't mean I'm right.

I guess I can agree with that, stock with chrome grilles and those horrendous tail lights is pretty bad, those were two of the first things I changed.
