Blow him off, tell him if he's that serious about it, he can either wait for Fed-Ex to do their part (if any) or he can fly to Houston and settle it the LEGAL way there.

yo im in NY and i jsut wanna kick his ass. hunter dont fret, guy's full of shit. i'd just ignore him completely to be honest. And even if he wasnt scamming you, you are not responsible, Fed Ex is. But next time, always get insurance, these shipping companies need to get their asses kicked too, very unresponsible since theyre basically a monopoly.

sounds like he's trying to scam you, but that's just the impression i get from what i've read. i remember when i first started using ebay i bought three vintage shirts (def leppard, whitesnake, and great white band shirts) for a total of $8 including shipping. i really wanted these shirts and couldn't believe i had won them for that low a price. then the guy ignored me and never sent them. it wasn't hard to look at his name under his ebay profile. i looked up his last name online (he was from some town in ohio) and there were like 4 people in his city with that last name. on my second call some guy answered the phone. i asked if jason was there, he said 'no, but this is his father, may i help you?' i almost started laughing, i kindly told him how his son was trying to rip me off- not only did he make his son overnight them to me, but he made him call me and apologize as well as leave me positive feedback- and i left him some feedback too "YOU SUCK". hahah that was the greatest. but yea hunter, if he's tryin to scam you i'm down to take a trip to nyc to kick his ass

Keep meticulous records of your conversations and/or messages to and from him with dates and times. I am curious to see what the lawyer says. If you have to go to NY, turn it into a fun trip, get a taste of the big apple, go to court, have lunch with bella, then come back victorious.

Hunter isn't liable for anything because the contract was never legal to begin with because he is a minor.

Info- A minor is someone under the age of 18 years according to the Births and Deaths Registration Amendment Act (No 1 of 2002) . This is called the age of majority. The age of majority was reduced from 21 to 18 years by this Act. A minor who enters into a contract without the consent of the parents or guardian does not have to keep to the contract. But, if the minor says he or she is older than 21, then the person who entered into the contract with the minor can sue for damages.
