Well, you could always accidentally post his number, address, and bimmerpost handle, and let that run its course....
Or you could request he send the item back, and ONLY THEN refund him the money. Let the paypal process work itself out, or see if you can somehow get this douchebag for harrassment. What a fucking douchenozzle.... "I'm willing to settle, based on you're ignorence...." Did a 5-year-old get a hold of Daddy's cell phone, or is the dude really that fucking stupid? There's like an entire year's worth of irony in that quote. |

I vote stick to your guns, OP. Are you seriously going to reward this guy for bullying you? Go the paypal route and let them make the decision. Nothing unfair about that.

Like I said in your other post bro, this guy has nothing on you. The fact that he doesn't care about Paypal anymore and is just threatening you proves that. He just wants to scare you until you give in and give his money back, then he has the item AND his money and he is the winner.
You can ignore the harrassment, let Paypal sort it out and continue to keep them informed and show them the proof of the harrassment. I would definitely consider taking this to the police, if anything to just have some sort of police report recorded so you can say you filed it and they can also show the proof of the harrassment. I think hiring a lawyer and taking legal action on him might be a bit much, because honestly it's probably just some kid who thinks he's a tough guy on the internet and phone, but if the harrassment gets out of control then you definitely can. You would win too, unless there is something else you're not telling us Someone else mentioned to just give him the money, but I wouldn't, and honestly I think that is stupid... You have a lot on your side here and will not lose this battle. Idiots like this need to be put in their place, otherwise they will just do the same thing to someone else and get away with it too.

Check with your state laws. If he threatens you with any type of bodily harm it's assault. Straight to jail if you bring it to your local PD. The way he's threatening you now is harassment not too much you can do, but I would just save all the texts and forward them to the local PD and have a police report on file just in case something were to happen. After you have the police report taken, take pictures of it and send it to him. That should shut him up real quick. If he continues to harass you tell him you will put a restraining order against him, sue him, and make him pay for the restraining order including time away from work. Also text him the police department's phone number if he thinks you're bluffing with the detective or PO that wrote out the report. Also explain to him you were going to refund him the money but him being a complete ass hat decided not to. You should also text him this thread and see if he replies. If you also want to royally piss him off just block his number through ATT's website, make an ad on craigslist and put his phone number for free Disney movies, subscribe him to free porn, deliver pizza to his house, etc. Trolling it's an art.

Prior to making the sale, I said he could text me incase he had any further questions etc etc
It's my g-voice #, so he doesn't know my actual cell # Lol Quote:
Can they trace the info even though it's through google voice? I would have done it straight at the beginning no problem but he filed a paypal claim instantly without even waiting to talk to me... and then got all aggressive etc. Wtf why should I be nice to some rude prick.... (was my thought process at the time) I don't think I can even refund him now cause it's in investigation. Anyone have experience with this? Quote:
What all that legal crap he's talking about US Postal service/wire fraud etc? wtf? Quote:
Quote:
Cause even with a restraining order, he's still able to do what he wants He knows my address as it was on the return label He knows my email address as well, he sent me the paypal payment Yes bimmerpost member, hence why I said he has 0 iTrader and not enough posts to even PM.. I'm really curious what is this wire fraud etc he's claiming... it's paypal, not a wire, and it's fking $45! What worried me about refunding him is he said he'd come down and personally deliver it to me....no..big no. keep it rather than coming near me Quote:
I'd hate to send him $45 with a 1% chance paypal stays neutral (buyer return item, seller refund). then he'd get $90. that is just plain wrong on so many other levels Quote:
I have no issue refunding if he sends it back first.... but he wants $ and then wants to deliver it "personally" Quote:
Seriously, I'm not dealing with people who have so few posts and no iTrader. it's a real PITA Quote:
Yeah I'll refund if he sends it back.... but I'm not going to violate paypal rules for him and get screwed. Their policy strictly states no refund until item is returned I asked, she said "I don't know" Quote:
All I've said to him (cause I didn't post my texts) is that he is rude/unreasonable/should maybe seek a physician or psychiatrist since high blood pressure is bad for the heart, simple friendly advice, that's not illegal is it? He sent pics, and to the best of my knowledge and understanding, I sent him exactly what the dealer gave me, part number #####, as I had no need for it. I had more than one, as the dealer gives it with every new car purchase, and my family recently bought more than 1 car from them (not immediate family, but same thing.. people in their 40s-50s didn't care for them so they gave them to me ) Quote:
I'll file a police report, not a bad idea. Restraining order is a couple hundred dollars and I need to stand in a long line But if that really is the only way to make him go away... Why would it piss him off if i blocked the #? He can still email... hell if he emailed I'd prefer it, cause then maybe I could read them. it's a PITA to read his texts since they come in a weird order

Send him pictures of corpses and stuff that you Google or chicks eating poop. Basically, troll the hell out of him. I mean, if he can be tough behind a phone, why can't you?

Meanwhile in Russia... Mmm... Dreaming...
Too bad it's in US. Hmm... Don't give this guy anything. Let PayPal handle dispute. I don't think there is much need for restraining order. But, sounds like something cops would be able to help you with, as well. Nowadays they take this $hit seriously. This guy probably needs good lesson. Good luck!

File a police report first with all his pertinent info, just in case.
Tell him once PayPal decides you will immediately initiate the actions described by PayPal. If he insists on personal delivery then hold him off and ask the officer or PD you filed with(hopefully yours) if they can send a cruiser or LEO out and meet them at the site described for the exchange(they may not do that but worth a try). That should tell him you mean business, give him his $45 get the item in question and personally inform him if he contacts you again you will forward directly to PD and file a resrianing order. Hard to get decent jobs with restraining orders filed on you. His handle should have been POOSTAIN that would be much more appropriate. I do agree he's simply just trying to get the item and a refund at the same time by strong arming you. Good Luck |

I called paypal again.
Told them I don't want to deal with him...so they advised me to close the dispute and have the buyer return the item and then he receives a refund (which is what I wanted to do...I just wish he wasn't such an a-hole) If the buyer doesn't provide tracking within X amount of days, case closed and I keep the $45 If he provides tracking, and I receive the wrong item, then I can open up a claim/dispute from my end for seller protection She mentioned that since I'm a top customer etc, that I should have no problem(s) etc She said that if I was an actual business (like say IND or EAS or something), I'd have a much stronger case, but since I'm an individual and not a business, the case isn't as strong Honestly I don't care anymore. I just want him to go away and leave me alone. I'll file a police report though, that's easy right?
