I see what you are saying. I hate when I'm driving normally which is usually a bit fast and someone tries to race me when I'm not at all interested. But it does take two. If you thought that they wanted to race and you didn't you should have done nothing that would have provoked them, or make them think that you want to race. It does seem like they were just having fun. I generally just let people drive by, they know and I know, I have the faster car and I dont need to prove it.

last summer a carrera GT was toying with me.... he gave me a chance, but it was great just driving with him and he would punch it and even though it wasnt close at all, i still had fun...

exactly my point. maybe I furthered it when i bolted past. if I was really 'racing' I would have been going much faster than 80mph-

for the record- this guy's z4 was the base model, with dealer plates so he just got it. Probably an automatic too. I know how fast those cars are, trust me- but straight line acceleration isnt it's forte. With a 6spd and 3.0 liter engine you would probably take me in the twisties no argument there. I just hate posers who buy a bmw and think they can drive because of the roundel...
