i'd be practical and stay away from those suggestions...
take into account the running costs of buying any of the above suggestions... gas, maintenance, depreciation... and especially for a daily? you'll end up spending more than saving. as the above suggestion... buy a civic, spend some on hookers and blow, and invest the rest.

Honestly I don't think that the OP knows what he wants. He said that the car must be a vert then if you read furthermore he wants it to be a coupe...

Thanks everyone.
Not that the internet is the place for personal info, but my inheritance is not $70k; that is how much I would like to put towards a car. Investments will be taken care of. Anywho, I think the M3 would be a good fit since I loved my E92 328i. Aston / Masserati might be a bit too flashy for me. I would be interested if someone could share some Porsche ideas PS Hookers and blow have been purchased long before the car Quote:
That's true. I would say that I prefer a vert.

CPO would be best bang for the buck. GTR would be awesome, but won't be 6MT, and people seem to complain about cost of maintenance, so I might not go that route. You could pick up a 996 Turbo if you wanted at that price (its AWD) If it were me though (and this is not a vert), I would get a nice example of an E39 M5 in Lemans Blue and overhaul it - I just love that body style for some reason. And then I would probably feel the 400 hp was boring and would do FI. But 70K would give me the money to do that! You could do an E46 M3 in vert and still have plenty left over for repairs and maintenance down the road. |

And you know what...there is such a thing...they are actually typically referred to as coupe convertibles or coupe cabriolet, but you just drop the coupe - its superfluous. So I learned something new, because prior to that, I would have said they are two entirely different things (and arguably, they still are if you don't add the convertible to the end of the coupe). |

I would suggest the GT500 as well. And don't let people fool you with the ADM talk; the ONLY people paying ADMs on those cars are people who are paying for their very own laziness or gullibility.
I'm happy to hear that your car budget does not share any resources with your hookers and blow budget. This is very important. But if you're looking for a vert with AWD and power, then I can't really think of that many contenders. All I can think of is Porsche really, or maybe a Roller. Keep the roof, get a 993 Turbo and make it scary. Last edited by ragingclue; 06-05-2012 at 05:29 PM.. |
