I love my iphone. Is it perfect... nope.
But I wouldn't want to live without it now that I have it.

I have owned several "smart" phones and my blackberry pearl is hands down the best phone I have ever owned. I demoed the IPhone but feel it needs work. Text messaging on it is a whore (a stylus would help) and its only on Cingular / AT&T(Im on T-Mobile and would never switch to AT&T's crap service).

The real story is that after ~350 charges, the battery will retain 80% of it's original capacity. That is likely around the 2 year mark, where I'd be replacing the phone anyway. You should get your facts straight. |

well I went ahead and got the iphone. Iphone fits my use and purposes perfectly. I only check my email one or two times a day and use the internet to browse around. The user interface is great. The internet on the blackberry is not displayed well IMO. The blackberry is the best for getting instant access and notification of emails, but that is not important to me or the field of work I am in.
Battery replacement is a non issue for me, especially since I owned many treos and none of them are plug and play batteries, so I'm used to not being able to easily change the battery, most smartphones you cannot and do not need too.

I have BB Pearl and an iPhone and the browser and cool factor of the iPhone are both much higher thant the BB...everything else is in favor of the BB. The iPhone doesn't have enterprise e-mail support and it's more cumbersome than the BB Pearl.
