Full sized Chevy SUV's can't be beat for the price. They are reliable and offer room for a big family and luggage. Forget about the LandRover. That car will spend plenty of nights in a shop's garage.

Garage List
I'd stay away from LR. Go GMC; cheaper to maintain and to fix.

Don't need to tow anything, so we don't need the towing capacity of a Tahoe. Its also a first year model, so I decided to lease. Got it fully loaded. Our first truck and so far I really like it.

I've had a gmc Acadia rental for two weeks now and prefer the JX.

another vote for the Suburban.

I have a GMC Sierra Z71, a 99 with 190k miles on it, small issues but its basically a tough bastard that refuses to give up. I beat the hell out of it and it just keeps asking for more. Sits undriven for weeks and will fire right up and drive great.

Can't beat it.

my mom doesn't like the looks of the JX, or any infinity car as a matter of fact. I do though, I guess that you can never win.
