S3 looks great. Really liking the size, says it is 6.7in shorter than a CLA. Great daily driver. Interior looks fantastic for a $39k car.

Looks are subjective. Objectively, C7 A6 is definitely more of a driver's car than the F10.

If I'm going for a base model midsize luxury sedan, I really don't think I'll care too much about how much of a driver's car it is. It'll be taking me to work and back with a few errands in between. All I need is for it to look good inside and out, be comfy, get decent mileage, and have some low end torque.

So they bring out an recent A4 sized A3? Thats revolutionary!

I cant see myself spending so much money for a Volkswagen with a nicer interior in near future.

Especially since all VAG - Vehicles (except Porsche + R8 of course) now share one Platform. Zhe MQB - Modularer Querbaukasten, quite curious what effect that will have on the build quality.

Seeing the performance of this 2.0T I cant help me wonder what BMW will eventually pull out of the N20.

The S3 looks like a great deal for the money. It is 175" long so about e46 sized and price well.

It does include a lot of options for 39k.

I will be considering one. Save myself 10 to 15k over a 335.

I really like it, but still have a soft spot for the S4.

Well it is faster and cheaper than a 135i, so that is not too bad. Looks pretty good to me as well.

I like the new A6 better than the F10, the F10 is not a bad lookin car but you see em everywhere like a Honda Accord and usually wirh a middle age white woman behind the wheel.
You know it's not an exciting car if it has that kind of following and it usually places last vs the A6 in the handling dept. ,fit and finish etc. .

So this sort of confirms that the next A4 will be bigger too?

if this and the CLA keeps pricing within range, they will be super hit.
With inflation, competetive job market people will be shifting to smaller more powerful cars IMHO.

That thing would get lost in a VW parking lot. Audi died for me with the the B7 S4. Some of the new powerplants are good, but interior is overdone and exterior styling is as boring as Toyota.

i think its a great looking car, very simple. looks a lot like the rest of the audi line. my only qualm is the interior looks a bit cheap to me. i really like the non facelift A5's interior. It was modern, yet was still classy and understated. I don't really like all the different colors in this one. I wish the interior was more uniform. But, maybe with other options it will look better. Pending being a good drive and having a typical "s" exhaust note (considering going for a preowned c63 as potential next car as well) the S3 is high up on the list.
