Shame none of those cameramen got hit with a back swing or a thrown axe.

I would have taken it and paid for transportation. Sigh.

The yahoo article had the right in question: "how inflicting thousands of dollars in damage to one's own property is supposed to convince a corporation to take responsibility isn't clear. "

BMW lost my dad as a client because they had his car in the shop for 3trips and over 8 months of his 36month lease. Kept having electrical shorts and weird batter problems in his 2008 750Li

If he was just a little more hot headed I'm sure he was headed in the same direction as this guy.

I just have to say WTF. I would never do this to any car, no matter how nice or crappy it is. If you have such a serious problem with a car, just sell it and let the next owner enjoy/deal with the car.

This man doesn't care about that. He's probably quite well off and wants to merely send a message to BMW or the BMW dealership that he's fed up with poor customer service and being jerked around.

wouldn't it just be easier to aim the car at the building and put a brick on the gas pedal?

Meaning that they hated their own property so much that they were willing to destroy it. I don't think this person was looking for the corporation to accept responsibility at this point but to prove a point to the public that this car is such a POS he's willing to destroy it for a purpose.

Not saying it makes sense but wealth talks and he knew it would stroke his ego to show off his wealth.

it's hard to give it up esp after you put so much work into it. maybe keep it and then buy a second daily driver haha

i really love bmw but when the warranty ends... oh my.

the thing is, i'm don't think it's just bmw. i think it's all cars these days. there's just so much they try to jam into them that a million things can go wrong.

Your're right about his ego. FYI, the ultra rich in China has a seveer attitude problem when it comes to their ultra high demands. They want immediate satisfaction or else.

If you can afford to do this sure why not. A few lost sales to BMW would make it all worth it, but I can imagine is cost BMW more than that.
