Search for the warranty. It's bound to be here somewhere.

I do agree with the posters that these two are different category, however, you're also getting very biased opinions here. Both are good cars for the category they belong. As for the maintenance program -- you have 4yr/50k miles on it no matter who owns it. And most of us still fall under those limits and love it -- everything is maintained for free (except tires) and any problem is pretty much fixed immediately. There are some pleasent surprises with the plan -- like free winshield wipers, free brakes and also some cosmetics -- like door handles, steering wheel replacement if peeling and so on... Now, what happens after the free maintenance period -- I, for example, don't even want to think about. BMW has had and will have issues and those will be expensive. Just replacing the brakes on these cars is extremely expensive and local Midas deals would not apply to these cars. What happens if your turbos go bad at 60k miles... Or, try changing oil at the dealer between the computer intervals... Ah, the RFTs... I don't know if anyone actually likes them. They are way expensive, don't last long and are less comfortable and louder than the regular tires. I had mine replaced twice (on the third set) in 15k miles, very mild driving. First -- it was at 8k miles for the noise, second because two nails were found in my rears and fronts still had cupping issues. If you can get a deal ($399) on the tire replacement warranty, I'd get it... One thing for sure -- I would not buy a used BMW with the age/miles close to 4yr/50k... Good luck |

the mazdaspeed6 is made in japan, not america. and it is a pretty good looking car so it''ll definitely turn some eyes.
my opinion is that you're getting what you're paying for. for 15k+ over a ms6 you are getting your money's worth in terms of performance and quality from the 335. the only thing i can say that the ms6 is better in is winter driving and $$ savings. that's about it. |

so im still having a hard time contemplating on what to do. Weather or not I should trade in my mazdaspeed6 which I am currently financing at 370 a month for the 335I sports sedan for 570 a month leased with no down payment? I know this is a BMW forum and most likely all will say the 335I but honestly just from a third perspective is the extra 200 a month in payments really worth it?

I think that mostly you are going to get a one sided opinion. You are in a forum where we ALL chose this car over ANY other car.
Personally, I don't think there is any comparison. If you want to go for luxury the Beemer, for perfomance the beemer, for looks the beemer, for service the beemer, for reliability the beemer. And if you are thinking about which one you can make faster, the beemer. We at BavDom and all our colleagues are finding new ways to improve the performance in this fantastic car that just keeps shelling out more and more as we discover it day by day. If you want a car then keep the Mazda, if you want a real vehicle, a real machine, the very definition of performance mixed with elegance and prestige, not just something to race or that will take you from A to B, then go with the Beemer. |

the two cars aren't even in the same league. plus you asked this question in a bmw forum, so majority are going to pick 335i.

Not even a contest. That's like asking what's better a 335i or an Porche 911. That's about the same leap as the mazdaspeed6 vs. the 335i in your rationing.

Okay, I just gotta tell you, in the above message I accidentally wrote mazda"peed" instead of mazda"speed" at first.

The Mazda6 sucks.
Ever wonder why lease rates for the Mazda3 are nearly identicle to the Mazda6? It's a horrible car, feels heavy in turns, ugly interior, seats suck, sound sucks, looks are terribly bland, and did I mention it sucks? Mazda knows the 6 was a failure, they did a good job making sure the next one wouldn't be. |
