My gf thinks she does this b/c she is pissed at her. She has gotten a lot less attention ever since she got a dog. The cat just sits in 1 spot in the bedroom almost all day. If you want attention, come get it you stupid animal. I'm very allergic to cats so F playing with it.
Cat could be upset. With a dog or another animal around, the cat's territory is being threatened. This could be just a simple case of marking.

But DEF clean that area or the marking will continue.

Once the area has been cleaned, it may not be a bad idea to put down a bowl of food or water in that spot for the cat. The cat won't want to pee near a food/water source.

In all seriousness though, this doesn't solve the problem. Real life situation; Girlfriend moved to new house back in MI, brought the two cats and 3 dogs (don't ask). Cat started shitting and pissing on the couch and corners in the basement. Litter boxes were perfectly fine. Moved food bowl, cat no longer pissed / shat there, it just went to a different corner to take a shat.

Not sure if it was from the move or what, but it was a recurring problem.

I started taking shats in the same corners, must have thought it was another cat because it started using the litter box. Don't tell my girlfriends mom though, she just thought her cat was eating more than usual.

Comprende.

Now can we get to the real business at hand? Where is the video of this cat? Any clip of Jinx from "Meet the Fockers" or "Meet the Parents" doesn't count.

This is not an accurate representation. The cat is clearly not flushing the toilet. Abraham Lincoln failed us here, though it is a small failure when compared to his overall contributions to this country.

I give it a 6.8. We've come to expect more from Billup. We hold him to a higher standard.

Yeah...had the same issue as the OP, and my wife took it to the vet to get it looked at. Cat was listed as being "depressed", and added $80.00 worth of shit meds to get over it's issue (along with the standard vet bill). Didn't work.

OP...do what I did, banish the cat to the garage. Not only did the cat destroy the carpet (which I had to take out after a couple months) but it ended up soaking through the hardwood floor. Once the cat has it's spot to go...you're not going to fix it.

18 years I've been waiting for this stupid thing to just die.
