I just got tracking # and it says my expected delivery date is the 23rd!!!

Fedex will hold them until the 24th anyways. I few lucky ones will probably slip through though.

I think I'm gonna call tomorrow and make sure mine is reserved...and then figure out if I'm still gonna wait in line...they're supposed to be reserved for the whole of the 24th.

Might wanna get there in the early AM just in case. I'm certain there will be an activation server fiasco, us East Coasters will probably have the servers trashed before your Apple store even opens

From what I've read, the planes have been tracked out of Hong Kong and should have all landed in Alaska by now.

rofl. then the plane will go to somewhere in the midwest where the fedex hub is, then to sorting, then to cali for the west coast hub, then to sorting, then to me, then to sorting, then on the truck, then for delivery. *SIGH*, maybe it'll come by Friday

ios4 update is supposedly comming out later today (monday).

also the dev team posted that it ios4 is ready for unlock and maybe being able to unlock iphone 4 very soon as well.

Unlock or jailbreak? "Catagories" alone makes the jailbreak worth it.

ios4 comming out today is already jailbroken and unlocked. dev team just has to finish packaging it all together for official release.

they said that because they managed to unlock & jailbreak ios4 that it may be a good chance using the same method to unlock iphone 4 which i hope is true.

then i can get mine sooner

That's good to hear. The only bad thing was the JB made my 3G phone run a bit slower than it normally did (i.e. program load times took a sec or two longer than normal). Hopefully the new processor is fast enough to negate that problem.

yea true, the new a4 chip should take care of that though. i need this unlock to get me one on t-moble. its nice that apple is selling no contract from the start.

so on ebay slightly used iphone 4s should be $50-100 cheaper then new from store.

I'd say the A4 will get rid of that lag...512 mb of ram is awesome as well! I'd be pretty angry at that if I were an iPad owner...

I'll probably do what I did 2 years ago, which is start the camp out at around 1-1:30 for the 7AM opening. With a reserved one, I better get priority (along with all the other people that reserved).
