Remember guys, if you believe in cryptocurrency like you all do, please keep your money in cryptocurrency. I don't want anyone here to even THINK about turning any possible profits back into dollars, OK?

I think you are assuming that most people here actually have a good understanding of crypto currencies and aren't just gambling on the latest trend

I know this, they're enabling instant bank transfers for some customers but they don't say who gets it

Of course one cannot eat gold, or have it help in agriculture or hunting and gathering nor for that matter in developing weapons of war (all stuff humans love doing)

(except now we understand the that precious metal have unique elector-chemical properties but really unlikely that that was understood when we first all decided to love it)
So if you give someone enough gold they may let you "practice procreation" with them, sure! but it is only because both of them have place value in a metal and the reason is that other around them have done the same....

I am not advocating digital currency all i am pointing out is that real currency had it's start from a gold standard, which at the end of day was just a shinny metal that bends easily...
Somewhat, but Gold actually exists and has a long history, even before markets, of having value. Crypto currency is a new thing and only exists in computers. Personally, I don’t think gold has much value and would much rather own profit producing companies that pay dividends than gold.

You might be right, but no one really knows how to value it. It’s based on almost nothing other than someone else willing to pay more. It’s gambling. You might wish you sold right now. Obviously, it can move quickly and when the music stops, you don’t want to be the bag holder.

For those going through the same thing, I signed up for Binance. Looks like they sell all the crypto I'm interested in.

Bitstamp is now saying 2 weeks for verification. Glad I had coinbase and binance too.

Wire transfer happened in hours on coinbase. Verification took no time.

Looks like my Ether credit card purchase went through, but it was far from instantaneous and they said they suspended all transactions. Luckily I didn't try to place another purchase though I'm at my limit so it probably wouldn't have gone through.

Like I said, this is the problem with speculation with no real substance other than euphoria. It's fun when it goes up, but what do you do now? Bitcoin isn't producing anything real, making profits, or paying a divided. Its price us purely based on someone else willing to pay more.
Stocks pay crap for dividend these days.

Did you wake up in the 90s? That's not how that works anymore. Ask Caitlyn.

You new at this? Depends on the stock and my point is that companies pay real money to own their stock and also increase in value.

Yields also decrease as stock prices increase and stocks are on fire.

Get out of here with all of this stock talk! This is about trading currencies! We're making thousands every day here! It would take decades to make the same in stocks.

You are like the salesman trying to get me to buy a horse! I am out here shopping Model-Ts.

I make thousands every day in both stocks and in trading cryptocurrencies. I also lose thousands, but on average over a period of months I'm averaging several thousand dollars a month.
