I think the phones might be coming sooner. I had a Dec backorder date but mine showed up on Monday. As for functionality, I like face ID better than touch ID. Overall, the phone gets my nod of approval.

It will probably be called iPhone 11. I heard about the plus version, that will be nice. Haven't heard about the LCD version, that will be an interesting option, probably a new base model with less/slower memory as well. I would be interest in a iPhone 11 plus with the same form factor.

"The News". I guess that is appropriate given the state of the news lately.

I heard an investor report from one of the manufacturers that mentioned a larger OLED screen. Where you are getting the LCD part from I have no idea. The fact that people automatically assume it is the next iPhones and they are the next X versions is quite comical to me.

This is what I was thinking also. Once they removed the physical button and made it a haptic button I thought it was the first step towards full screen iphone with some kind of digital home button right on the screen.

The face id is actually what I dislike most about the iphone x.

I'm assuming the lcd model will be the screens before the x just add the face recognition and other features, idk about memory as that's not a big deal these days. I'm assuming 64 is standard.

If this is being priced around 649 what's the older models going down to? And the 8's

Mine came in Friday. Picked this Samsung wireless charger up at a local ATT store. It sits flat or tilts up. Pretty sweet as you can charge the phone and it's propped up at a good viewing angle. Since you can't charge it and plug in wired headphones at the same time.

That Samsung one is 9W fast charging. Not that the iPhone is capable of it yet. I picked up the Belkin charger and it feels very cheaply made compared to the Samsung one, no offense I'm sure it works fine; that was the deciding factor for myself between the 2 brands. Belkin and a couple other brands make them "future proof" up to 15W.
