Last night I was at a party and the selection of scotch/whiskey/bourbon wasn't interesting. However I did try John Barr Reserve and it was surprisingly much better than I expected.

Last night it was red, white, and berry Smirnoff in diet 7. Sounds equally as bad, right?

I love rum but I don't buy or normally drink Bacardi. I've had this bottle given to me as a gift years ago. ( Probably as old as Murf.)

Since I'm in the process of making bread and pizza, I've decided to give it the Coup de Grâce since there are about two ounces left.

Can I sneak in here and say I've been drinking Sam Adams "Just the Haze" non-alcoholic IPA? It's actually pretty tasty. You can definitely tell the alcohol is missing, but the taste is what you'd expect from a hazy IPA and you can pound down a few and not worry about driving. Would be good to mix a few of these in with full strength IPAs when drinking with friends.
