Ok, so with deadlift deficits- what weight should I be using?

I'm standing on 3 45lb plates. I tried 135 for 20 reps, way too easy.

Went up to 225, 10 reps, more challenging, but still pretty easy.

Went up to 315- and 5 repsx3 killed me. Is it supposed to be that tough? Or am I putting too much weight/standing too high off the ground?

Yeah 275 probably good for a while. Just keep going up a bit. Should be hard as hell and teaches you to really get your ass down and lift with legs for initial drive. Height doesn't have to be a ton usually used a box they have at gym and it's 4-6 inches probably depending on one I choose.

Did you try any grip it and rip it lifts?

Nah not yet- I'm saving that for Saturday after warm up- I read that if you do deficits- and in the same work out you try to max out, it's worse than before you even started deficits due to being burned out by the end.

I definitely my upper thigh/quads forcing my ass lower and thrusting my hips harder to pull through. I can see how after a few weeks of this it'll make my old PR easy pickings. Going to lower it down to 275 next time.

1. Never had anyone I would consider too large.
2. No, maybe if it had been a sex only thing and he wasn't good enough in bed to compensate for it, but I typically bang people when there's a little more to it than that.

It's easy to be self-conscious for seemingly stupid reasons. You can ask her why she's self-conscious and tell her that you think she/her vagina are beautiful and you love/like/whatever her regardless. Constant reinforcement of that can help.
