It's BACON!!!

I broke out the bison bacon Sunday. Interesting, but still had the Schwann's pepper bacon alongside. I literally inhaled a piece of pepper bacon, and it took my lung about 15 minutes to TB-surround that thing so I could hauck it up.

Pretty sure I felt my heart stop a few times, so I just punched my chest until the pulse came back.

So far, Wrights has my favorite thick cut maple bacon. It's pretty high ranking right now, but I might look into new bacon sources and break out of the shell.

Every time you say "Biorin's bacon" I imagine someone actually making me into bacon. I'm pretty sedentary, so the meat would be soft, and plenty of fat for flavor.

Was the bacon actually any good? I've never tried that kind.

I just wish there was an infinite source of this Biorin Bacon. I'd imagine you would make for a tasty slab of bacon. Enriched with financial knowledge, so it might even make the connoisseur a little bit smarter. Brain food!

It was pretty damn good. I saved the brown sugar cured for last and so far it has been my favorite. The blackpepper was lacking in the black pepper department.

Canadian bacon. Mother fucker that shit is ham, and you are a damn loony Canadian.
Funny, I use to have a Canadian engineer that worked for me...I asked him what they called Canadian bacon up there. He said "Ham".

Depends who you ask, it did originate in CAN by English emigrants that stole the idea from some Canadian dude. It's just trimmed pork loin wet cured and rolled in corn meal or something I think.

Yeah, but we typically just refer to that as peameal bacon, rather than Canadian bacon. If you don't specify, and just ask for bacon, then most likely you are going to receive bacon in the form that Americans expect up here...the fatty strip kind. With certain exceptions...say if you ordered eggs benedict...then you should expect to receive peameal bacon. Societal norms and that.

We are trying as a nation to conform our definition of bacon to the American one. All in the interests of becoming the next "state" to be adopted into Murica of course.

Doh! I knew it had a different name but couldn't think of it. You Canadians are so witty.

Yeah, you use the regular strip bacon to dip in the yolk of the egg on the benedict, and use the peameal bacon as stacker accessory.

To be honest, I think the great state of Canada would do us more good than the great state of Puerto Rico.

If a man had this as his pet, would you allow him in your pants on the first date?

It's better than a man owning a cat.

In all seriousness its the shedding and the use of the bathroom indoors that I hate. You can smell it. As soon as you walk into a guys house who owns a cat, you smell the litter box. Even if it's clean its that distinct " A cat lives here" smell thats gross. Kinda like when you walk into a smokers house, they cant smell it, but to a non smoker it hits you like brick wall when you walk in. Cats shed. I CANNOT STAND hair on the couch, on your clothes, etc. They scratch shit the list goes on. I dont mind a cat at the barn but as far as inside cat in someones house? No, not for me.

Cats stink and you can ALWAYS smell them despite how "clean" people say they are and how "clean" they keep the litter box.

They are also a stupid animal to own and usually the people owning them are annoying.
