I have had some ligaments pulled back to their places, some stabbing wounds stitched, a milk injury fixed and then some stitches for more stupid shit and I once had to wait 8 hours in a hospital to get my chin glued because a grown man was in to bitch slapping with long nails.

This is why we'd be so TOTALLY compatible! You do the difficult stuff like blowing up tires with axe handles, and I'll do the intricate, detailed work of straight tile floors, with perfectly concave grout, and a dead-straight line of the grout on the wall above the splash tiles so you can wash the floors and not the walls.

Then later you could brush my hair while I brush yours. #WINNING!!!!!

Washing floors, I have to Google that concept. Sounds like one of those man duties to me I'm not familiar with! A bit pervy even, washing the floors...

Today was wood cutting day, again which was fine and would've been fun even if the pro hadn't shown up at 7 am, and I went to bed at six am since I spent the night blasting away Motorhead while refinishing a fireplace and some walls.

My great great grandpa bought that to his daughter who wasn't obviously going to be living in the house for all eternity about 150 years ago, and my great great grandpa built it to her room then. That's the last picture before it was taken down in the 60's and my aunt tracked it down, and I bought it today. Next summer, my saint of a husband will be building it to our bedroom.

He has to be a saint, eh, you can have a perfectly new and shiny fireplace custom made for a few k. He just had to marry the bitch that hates new shit and heating half a house with electricity.

The structure is very interesting to build (pronounced bj day every day, all day, all summer long) and the way it dries up makes it a 3 month long project minimum (a long summer. Lip balm). The funny part is that the guy who tore it apart told me he had met my great grandfather once, and since the man is currently 100 years old, we actually did paperwork and a lawyer for the signing.

The ingredient that makes Aspirin work can be found in a tree. My friend's horse is sore due to a bad landing she did and now instead of a bushy backyard, i have a pharmacy on my land. My wall of firewood protects the bushes now from the other horse owners who try to help an old horse to avoid a glue factory (and my freezer).

I absolutely adore the house I'm fixing. This is the best project I've ever had but i do wish the rest of the family would stop enabling me. This fireplace thing i thought for sure would've landed me in the dog house (i have one, just in case) but they've all given up on me clearly, even the kids just laughed when I told them I bought it.

"We've seen the ones you've been looking mom, dad told us months ago not to get attached to any of them because you were going to find some old pile of rocks to instal for sure. "

He should've told me that and save me from a world of trouble.

What's even more interesting is if you look at the opening of the fireplace, you realize that the Swedish Santa Claus (because all good things come from Sweden) has no hope of fitting through. I'm feeling for Lups' kids here, because the magic of Christmas will soon be gone from their hearts.

Nope, but I did have to remove all pillows from the couch cuz the dog tried to haul them in to the fireplace so he'd have a soft place to lay down on. I have to make him a fireplace pillow from some fireproof cloth as soon as I figure out one.
